Trying out 3D heavy concept art workflows in Blender.
Rendered in Blender Eevee and overpainted / textured in photoshop.
For the design work I first sketched out the design with the new Grease Pencil inside blender, blocked out the main shapes in 3D after doing another pass on top of the shapes with the Grease Pencil. I used grease pencil lines to produce some rough geometry to get some ideas going. After that I just went crazy with hardops and just modelled this guy essentially in pose.
